How to create Custom Metadata Fields?

Custom Metadata Fields are included in our Advanced plan.

Your account administrator can create max 10 new metadata fields of your choice. You can name them freely, select the type (text, date, number, multiselect or radio button) and select the categories they are visible in (contract management categories and/or entity management). After that, you can use those metadata fields exactly the same way as the predefined fields.

How to create new Custom Metadata Fields: 
  1. Click the settings icon in the header and choose Account & Billing (you need to be an administrator to access this).
  2. Choose Manage Custom Fields.
  3. Create max 10 new fields and select their settings.
  4. The fields are instantly visible and usable in the selected categories.
